4.0 out of 5 stars Light, enjoyable read
A easy and enjoyable read. I was looking for a book to read t night as a break from university work. This series is just that each book leaves you wanting the next, the characters are likeable and varied.

2.0 out of 5 stars Children's book
The trilogy was a disappointment, little more than a child's adventure. In general, short and poorly written. I would certainly not recommend it.

The story is interesting, but modern terms were used which were out of place - sometimes to the story's detriment. Really bad proof-reading too!

1.0 out of 5 stars PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH. IT WILL ONLY ENCOURAGE THE AUTHOR, 4 July 2013

I really wish I read further than the first two reviews which was what motivated me to buy 'The Sorcerer's Ring'. If you have never read fantasy novels before I implore you not to start here.

Having read fantasy novels for over 25 years, I can truly say that this series is terrible. The characters are one sided and the plot is so childish and implausible that I am beginning to hate almost all of the main protagonists as well as the author.

It is definitely time to start including an intended age range for books like the PEGI rating. If I had known before that these books were intended to entertain a five year old I would never have purchased such a poor effort.

Shame on you Amazon for allowing such a travesty to sully my eyes.

Unimaginative, inaccurate, repetitive, poor English, plots taken from other books and authors just enough to make it not a breach of copy right.

Sorry but this trilogy seems to be aimed at a much younger age group(8/12 year olds) and find it very lacking

I bought these as a kindle edition. Didn't realise how thin the books must be until I realised I was at the end. Not enough detail or padding.

Taking the realms of fantasy to uncharted depths of bilge and nonsense. Do not read these books, you have been warned!
