This product arrived very quickly and a day earlier than expected. It was nicely packaged and in it was the charger, a manual and a returns/refunds leaflet.

The charger itself is well made and a highly glossy white plastic with sturdy contacts. The charger has a female USB connector and a fixed coiled cable with a male micro USB connector on the end. Un-stretched it is about 34cm in length and will stretch up to 135cm+, however at this length, it will be pulled out of the phone or tablet etc.

It charges two Nexus 7's simultaneously whilst they are being hammered by my two children in the back seats of my car. This has been difficult for me to manage previously, not many chargers will output enough current for one tablet let alone two, and it is also difficult to find leads that allow a tablet to charge adequately too.

This product only had one negative as far as I can see, the coiled wire would have been better being straight for me. It is not quite long enough for me to have a tablet in a headrest holder and it plugged into a cigarette lighter socket. Where I use a lead of my own in the USB socket, it is fine. This is why I reduced my review to 4 stars. If you are able to store and charge your gadget around 30cm (will probably increase as it is used and the cable stretches), from the cigarette lighter socket this is a great product. For £21.99 it is good value but at the current price of £6.99 which is similar to the cost of a 2A charging lead on its own, it is excellent, if it's long enough for your needs.

Conclusions. It is an excellent well made product where if you are able to charge one of your gadgets quite close to the charging socket then it is a no brainer to buy it. The 3.6A total output is more than able to charge two tablets, if one of these is in the front it is great, but for me and my car and two kids in the back, it isn't and I would be better with a product like "http://goo.gl/v57oE0" , this looks like a similar product but with 2 USB sockets.

I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, and I promised that my review is fair and honest.

I have used this only once so far (just received it) and bought it to charge an iPhone (ios7). It works well and is a well made piece of kit. It has the advantage that you can charge two items at once if you plug in an extra cable. However, don't make the same mistake I did. It will charge an iPhone, but only if you plug in an Apple cable. The cable attached is micro USB. You can get an adapter seperately, but you also then get a message saying it might not work too well (it does work okay) - i'd bought a non Apple adapter. If you want it for just Apple charging, you might be better off with a dedicated charger, rather than having two cables or an adapter fitted. If it's for micro USB use, then this is a brilliant product, and you get the benefit of options with the extra USB port.

Got this in to charge my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my mother's Note2 in our VW Golf Mark 6.
This car charger is excellent, allows charging via USB @ 2.1A for Apple devices (I had to test it to make sure it charged Apple devices) and also charge your Android devices, such as my S3.
The wire that's pre-built-in is excellent and extends easily from the bottom (near the gear shift) to the windscreen (where I have a car holder on the windscreen) of our VW Golf Mark 6.

Overall, it charges the devices that I need, and does it efficiently.
Only drawback I realised is the fact that the charger needs quite some force to be inserted into the smoking adapter. Other than that, excellent charger which does what it says on the tin!

Excellent! This car charger will charge my Note 3 at max charging rate (1200mah) and will do it using either the built-in micro-USB cable and plug, or by inserting my own Samsung USB3.0 cable. It also charges my wife's S3 Mini at the same time.
The micro-USB plug is also the only plug I've found, other than genuine Samsung ones, that makes a reliable connection.
It feels solid, as if made from thicker plastic, and generally looks and feels better quality than the cheaper chargers that are prevalent these days.

Anker do seem to be building themselves a reputation for selling better quality stuff and providing good customer services.

I originally purchased this for my new iPhone 5S however you still need the lightning pin cable from apple to use this product so not really what i thought it was going to be however it can be used for other members of my families htc and samsung phones so still useful.

After posting a review on amazon Anker emailed me asking if I still wanted to keep the charger and offered me a partial refund of £2 and I still got to keep the charger because of the great service and the constant contact between myself and Anker has been great, so thats why I am giving them a 5 star review

Look. This is good. It charges the phone (galaxy S3) really well. Some others I've had are pretty asthmatic when it comes to power. But this charges quickly, fits nicely in my car, looks good and is reasonably priced (you can get cheaper chargers but they will not be able to keep up with the power drain if you are using your phone as a navigation device). So why only 4 stars? Well its that pesky coiled cable that just keeps pulling my phone out of position. OK so it keeps things tidy but if this had a normal straight cable, I'd give it 5 stars.

I bought this in-car charger for my Samsung Galaxy S4, based on others' reviews and am very satisfied with it. It arrived promptly after ordering and the charger works perfectly- I haven't used the USB Port yet.
The extension cord is coiled quite tightly so it's neat, but stretches out a lot and is easily long enough that I can sit my phone anywhere around the car while it is charging.
The only reason I didn't give the charger 5 stars is because there is no indicator light on it, to show when it is connected and actively charging.

Only had the product a short while but I bought it to get a fast charger for my Samsung Galaxy S3 in the car and something that would charge whilst using the phone as a SatNav.
It was a little tight fitting into the 12V socket, but worked as described.
I got the version with the fitted cable which a found a bit short with the tight coiling. I think it will stretch a bit with use but it pull at the car cradle for my phone when I first tried it.

It is good as a usb/car charger. But the android charger which is pre attached is rubbish. It doesn't stay in my phone! it doesn't have the "teeth" that click it into your android charging socket, so it just falls out. If you have your phone mounted using it as a sat nav then the charger won't stay in the phone. The usb part is fine, you can plug your own usb cable in and use that fine. Just a shame the pre attached cable is terrible.

I have used other cheaper dual ports and have found them useless, they simply do not charge faster than the usage charge. and quite quickly the device will stop working for lack of battery charge. This Anker dual USB is different you can easily run two devices from a single socket. The result are impressive not only do they work both devices but both are quickly recharged. I simply say BUY you will not be disappointed.
