5.0 out of 5 stars Quinney excels, 17 Nov 2011
Robert Quinney is one of our top young organists, and he does not disappoint here. This disc of rarely performed Bach works (I've not seen them on disc or in concert programmes recently) is a delightful reminder of how diverse are Bach's organ works, and how good they can sound when played well on an appropriate instrument. The registrations here are sensitive, the articulation precise, and it is a real pleasure to sit back and enjoy these works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish Bach, 7 Jun 2012

The complete JS Bach Trio Sonatas for organ, all on one CD. Robert Quinney plays them beautifully in the warm acoustic of Queen's College Chapel, Oxford.
The recording is exceptional. The "Coro" engineers have captured the Frobenius organ in close but wonderfully clear sound, with not a trace of harshness;
also thanks to the inspired registrations of Robert Quinney. A "must hear" for all Bach organ lovers!

It is Bach. Or should I say BACH? At one with the organ. This recording is one that I find rewarding and fulfilling. It is Bach.
