I’m waiting for a long time. Finally I can watch last season. Satisfied.

Not a massive jump in picture quality from the dvd release.
The visual effects suffer the most;being upscaled with noticeable anti alias.
Personally loved this from start to finish.A wonderfull bunch of actors make it work.
Many said the storylines were tired or it changed the Star Trek history in a way most trek fans didn't like.
I'd say after the recent movie;please give this another look its much better than you may think.
Picture quality good,sound good.
Plenty of extra's new and old to watch.

I had a week off work and I was sick! Stuck in bed for 3 days. But it gave me the opportunity to give this a second go. I watched every episode. It was really good! Storys weren't as bad as I remembered. Stand alone reset button type stuff. But I was surprised by how much I liked it!
Fast delivery and great picture quality.

The first season had a great opener but suffered from bad stories and at times listless acting.
Still some good stories though , unfortunate it got cancelled after 4 seesons particularly as it got a lot better at the end of season 2

I brought season 1 of Star Trek Enterprise as I was so impressed with the picture quality of Star Trek the next generation season 1 and 2 which was remastered perfectly.

However I was somewhat disappointed with the picture quality of this series as the picture quality is nowhere near as good as I thought it would be considering this was the most recent Star Trek saga, however it is nice to watch in widescreen and the sound quality is amazing.

This is the first time I have ever critised anything Star Trek, but just a little disappointed the picture quality is just a little better than the DVD transfer.

I have still given it 3 stars because of the stories in this series and the sound quality is excellent.

Although I'm financially pleased I won't have to double-dip, it was a major disappointment to check the picture of the episodes. I only watched the pilot and the following episode and to me the whole thing seemed up-converted, and I mean every scene and not only the special effects which were originally rendered in standard definition. If you rate the Next Generation Blu-rays 10 and Enterprise DVDs 5, the Enterprise Blu-rays would be at best 5.5.

I only hope that Paramount didn't do it intentionally so they have an excuse not to release Deep Space Nine and Voyager when the Enterprise Blu-rays don't sell as much as the classic series or TNG.

So if you're planning on buying this I'd suggest that you rent it first and find for yourself if it's worth the purchase. I gave this review 2 stars in respect for the show, which I really like, but the quality of the image, especially if you consider the other Star Trek shows already released on Blu-ray, is insulting.

-------------------UPDATE-------------------

Following the suggestion of another customer, I checked another episode further ahead, and although the picture does improve, I'd give it a 7.5, which doesn't come near the results they had on TOS or TNG, so I still humbly maintain that it isn't worth the upgrade unless you are really interested in the new extras or if you have money to burn. Therefore my original conclusion stands.

Enterprise is HD ready, so it won't be getting any remastering. DS9 was the most daring of the four spinoffs, so let us all buy Enterprise to get DS9 a Blu-ray release!

Star trek as its supposed to be watched..as a fan i look forward to seeing all the franchise being brought up to date visually as the effects make it difficult to believe how many years old some series are ..truly brilliant !!! A must see for fans old and young alike

Yep, I love Enterprise, and already have all 4 seasons on DVD. When TNG came out on BD, I complained that the price was way too high and was shot down on the grounds that "it pays for the re-mastering". Well, guess what, little or no remastering here, and *still* £52+ for one season (as I recall, I paid under £60 for all 4 on DVD in slimline). All the time people keep paying this sort of price, they'll keep charging it. Guess I should be grateful for rich early-adopters allowing the price to ultimately come down to sensible levels (e.g. just paid £35 for *5* series of the truly excellent Battlestar G. on BD). Enjoy - but I won't be joining you - yet.
