Not exactly grammatical! But with a benefit!
on 18 August 2014
OK, so the Kindle version only cost a couple of quid, and it is quite informative. However, as some others have pointed out, there are loads of words placed inappropriately, missing, in the wrong order and goodness knows what else.
But, looking on the positive side, this is a cloud with a silver lining. The narrative is pretty dry, there are no jokes! So rather than just reading the words, and them not really registering, you have to stop, sometimes, and analyse the sentence to discern exactly what is being said. As a result, maybe, the meaning takes root in the brain!
What I think has happened is that Mr Litten has dictated the book using Dragon, or some some other software, and he hasn't sense checked his work before publication!
