5.0 out of 5 stars Another Classic from S.G. Rogers, 15 Mar 2013
This review is from: The Ice Captain's Daughter (Kindle Edition)
When it comes to ‘Romance’ S.G. Rogers never fails to deliver something special. Set in the back drop of the Victorian era, the author has created a vivid and exciting world in which you instantly start to love, hate and really feel for the characters. There has been a lot of work down on the story and it’s worth the read. Close your eyes and imagine the story unravelling as you read, simple put its brilliant. You could very easily imagine yourself watching this period drama on the BBC. I’ve even tried to convince the author to do a script treatment and submitted it to the BBC for consideration. After reading it you will do the same!

This book takes you to a period when there was a role for everyone and etiquette dictated life.
Written well it creates vivid pictures of this period and the characters were believeable.

This is a lovely period romance and I was surprised by just how much I enjoyed it, the story is entertaining and the two main characters are just wonderful, I loved both Jillian and Logan. The only fault I could really find is it ended a bit too abruptly for me, after reading about these two I wanted a more gentle end I wanted to know about her father, unless of course he gets his own book, now that's a thought, I'll have to check.
