5.0 out of 5 stars NEW
The boys are back & brilliant as ever. What more can you say they are still delivering good catchy magical tunes over 30 years since they started.
CD starts off with the My Girl 2 which grows on you more & more every time you here it & ends on a heavy Ska beat of Death of a Rude boy (if you do not include bonus tracks). If you are an old fan or new to Madness do get...

3.0 out of 5 stars Just ok
Expecting a bit more from Madness. Some good tracks on this one, "La Luna", "How Can I Tell You" and "Death of a Rude Boy" however too many hit and miss. "Powder Blue", what a dreadful song, "Never Knew your Name", Madness do disco (no,no) and "Leon" not good. Would have got fours from me if they had replaced these with the...

3.0 out of 5 stars Madness not mad!, 4 Mar 2013
Don't get me wrong but this IS a good album,but....
Sadly this is a typical late era Madness album much like Keep Moving or Norton Folgate. There are no foot stompers here or any sign of their youthful energy or wit of their first three albums. However this remains a good album if you are unaware of the early stuff. I remember as a school kid in the 83/84 period thinking how boring Madness had become what with Yesterdays Men and One Better Day. No more the fun of Baggy Trousers or Nightboat to Cairo. Madness had matured and now with Oui Oui etc they are perhaps showing their age?

3.0 out of 5 stars Good music, awful packaging, 26 July 2013

This is less a review of the music itself (which is good, although probably my least favorite of all Madness' CDs), and more a review of the packaging of the discs. What genius came up with these paper sleeves? There's no way to remove the discs without tearing the sleeves unless you put your fingertips on the disc. Very, very bad design.
