Always been interested in this, but am not always convinced. The accounts published here are certainly persuasive, but that is all they ever can be - persuasive. This is such a personal subject that to be convinced one would need personal proof. Having said that, Richard Bullivant has approached the subject fairly and with an open mind and the tales told here are very interesting and thought provoking and I don't doubt their authenticity. Food for thought. I hope Richard will bring on a second course!

I read through this book with interest. The subject is not one to which I would personally subscribe to but found that the short stories gave reference to many interesting experiences that people claim to have had in their lives. The whole subject of reincarnation is one which has many adherents throughout the modern world. I think that anyone who reads this collection of stories will be more able to see where the supporters of the subject are coming from. I found the book an interesting read and good for anyone who wants to read more about the reincarnational experiences that people say they have had.

This is the second book of the "series" I have downloaded for kindle and again have been impressed by the standard of writing and the interesting research revealed on the subject matter. I particularly liked the story about Jeffrey Keene (the Firefighter) who was affected by visiting the site of a great American civil war battle, which eventually led him to carry out research and become convinced that he was in fact the reincarnated spirit of a severly wounded Confederate General! All very interesting and convincing information, well described. I also found intriguing the story about the young boy, James Leininger, thought by his parents to be the reincarnation of a fallen WW 2 pilot. And as if these facts were not interesting enough, what about the amazing story of the chess game between the "modern times" Russian Chess champion and the Hungarian past master Geza Maroczy, who had died in 1951. The game lasted almost 8 years and explains how some people can be taken over by the spirit of the deceased and act as if they are still alive, with all their knowledge! Great stuff!
Very interesting to read and provokes many thoughts and questions on this facinating subject.

My other read's by this author, highly recommended:

I never had any particular stand on reincarnation and decided to read this book out of curiosity.

What I found surprising is the fact that one of the people mentioned in the book lived more than one life in the past. I was always under the impression that at the most a person had one life in the past (if at all).

I also read with great interest the chapter about when children claim to be reborn, reason being that on several occasions, my son, who is almost five now, has said to me something along the lines of "I was your grandfather when you were little " and I just dismissed it. Usually if I ignore things he stops saying them, but in this case he has been fairly consistent in repeating it. And, I must admit, after reading this book, I'm beginning to wonder if there might some point to what he is saying and will probe deeper.

This book has certainly given me food for thought about whether there is an after life or a past life and how it is manifested. Each story is very factual and addresses the matter of reincarnation from a different perspective. All in all, it made for a very interesting and fascinating read.

It would be easy to dismiss reincarnation as something that logically cannot exist. For years I would class myself as a sceptic on the subject.

However, what I have also learnt over the years is that there are many powers that do exist that we cannot fully explain.

The case studies contained in this book provide several examples of reincarnation that I find difficult to argue against and the book makes compelling reading. If you have an interest in the subject then this well written book should give you great food for thought.

This book is an excellent collection of stories about Reincarnation. It is thought-provoking
and some of the information was really surprising. It is well written and flows nicely. My favourite story was the chess match with an alive grand master and a deceased player-mind blowing!! I also liked the story of the Middlesbrough man who was thought to be a German fighter pilot. It is an interesting look at Karma and how previous actions can influence future events.

Reincarnation is a fascinating subject. It's not something you can really prove but nevertheless there is a lot of compelling evidence in it's favour. In this book you are presented with 12 real life stories from around the world where people have experienced compelling evidence of reincarnation. If you have any interest in the idea of reincarnation then you will enjoy reading these thought provoking stories.

I enjoyed this book as I'm very interested in the after life and spirit world, I certainly believe in reincarnation so I really didn't buy this book to convince me so I knew I would believe the stories in it, however I did find it a bit boring at parts, but I'm still happy I bought it, I would recommend it if your interested in this subject.

For anyone who's got a passing interest in reincarnation you'll find plenty stories to keep you entertained. And for everyone else who may be a sceptic, there's lots of strange things inside that may cause you to question those beliefs.
