On one level this works as a standard pot-boiler crime thriller adventure story that would work in any environment.

On another level this is a poorly researched book. A slightly better appreciation of Ghanaian names as related to the country's geography would have helped.

And Obuasi is not just twenty miles away from Kumasi.

Was recommened to read this by a friend and was soon glad I had been. It pulled me in from the start and I couldnt put it down.
The twists in the story had me hooked and it didnt disappoint me with a brilliant ending.
Hopefully there will be more from James soon.

Thought first chapter didn't fit with the rest of the story, until I really got into it.

Loved the book and have recommended to family & colleagues. 11 Year old daughter is reading now and planning to pass round her friends in school.

Well done James, when is the next one?
