More focussed than the first Allstars comp. The labels aesthetics are more realised by this point. Hi-tech & hi-fi. Neo-Tokyo penthouse rather than London council estate. Still club tracks to the core, the neon sheen and glamour synths don't obscure the thumping bass, metronomic handclaps and flurries of snares and hi-hats. Yet another step away from dingy dubstep and grime towards a new, more cosmopolitan sound.

An aside : Re-listening to Kingdom's 'Bank Head' on here, I now automatically mentally attach Kelela's vocals to it. That track becomes a whole different beast with her soulful melodies present.
