Life is all about perspective and this is a great book to help coax unhelpful perspectives out of your life and feel good about yourself whilst doing so. As with all things in life it will only have an impact if your are willing to see things from different view points. If you want to change your life then you have to put the work in to make it happen, this book helps to get the process of change moving, let go of initial defensiveness and go with the flow. Gabrielle's way of writing makes it an easy read and easy to follow practice.

I was expecting a great deal about this book but ended up being disappointed because the author seems to ramble about the same topics for (p)ages without ever clearly explaining how to overcome your problems (or in such an obvious way that you would not have needed to spend money for it).

I am only into week one (which has taken me 2 weeks to get to) but I am feeling the benefits already. The exercises/instructions are simple, which does not mean easy, but so far, powerful. The only "dislike" is that she writes like a teenager would speak. I am no older than the author but her attempt at being "cool" and "hip" can be a bit annoying. This does not in anyway makes her message less valuable. I would recommend this book to anyone who's feeling stuck, slightly depressed, wants a change, or just wants to know themselves better.

I really liked this book, but... I think the cynical Brit in me was a little overwhelmed by the chirpy language.

Don't get me wrong, I read it, I followed the exercises and I found it a very positive experience. But if you're a cynical non-American you definitely need to suspend your instinct and just go with the flow. If you do, then the results are worth it. I'm happier, more focused and more positive after reading it.

It's really easy to read and follow and once you get used to the instructions and language you really get into it!

I cannot recommend this book enough. It honestly has changed my perspective on living. Gabrielle Bernstein is incredibly inspiring, clever, cool and I thank my lucky stars she shares her gifts and talent. Much love and respect goes out to her and to her mother for raising such an amazing woman. Thanks Gab! Much love from London!

I pre-ordered Gabrielle Bernstein's third book without hesitation, and I was not disappointed.Since reading her first, it seems the world is catching on to her upbeat thinking. If you haven't read the first two, don't worry, this book stands entirely on its own. And the point? The reason this book works is that it isn't just the author's thoughts and opinions, it is a practical day-by-day guide that you can follow. Each week builds on the last, and covers important areas of life from health,to finances, to relationships. It is clear and challenging at the same and time, and you have to commit six weeks to it. The best part of Ms. Bernstein's work is that she shares a great deal of her life and her experiences, and her story is a genuine one that will resonate with so many women. If you feel that you would like to make some changes in your life, but are not sure where to start, then open this book, after you have opened your mind. To her U.S.fans it is rockin' but to us U.K. followers? It's a belter!

on day nine of the daily challenges, it really gets you looking at yourself, i would'nt take it as a rule to stick to each day every day its ok to spend an extra day to work through the stuff shes asking you to do its about creating the miracles yourself by helping you to love yourself and think more about your own choices im enjoying it, like it says its a "kick - Start" the rest is up to you.

I really, really enjoyed this book. I read this book after reading the book before which I found helped me to move forward emotionally in my life. This book cemented me emotionally into a different and better place. The chapters in this book are short enough so you enjoy reading them.
It gives you simple affirmations that you can repeat throughout the day to keep you on focus. Very good.

...but I appreciate that it is just the beginning. I liked the writing style. The work involved was time consuming and requires a commitment to practice twice a day for 42 days. I found the phrase 'f-bomb' grating and think the audio meditations could have been provided for free, which is why I didn't rate 5 stars.

I'm only day 3 into this program, however so far I'm enjoying reading the book and applying the exercises. I've listened to several of Gabrielle's podcasts on iTunes and enjoy her style of writing and speaking. I find her upbeat attitude refreshing yet real and feel that she is 100% genuine in wanting to help others improve their life. Applying these principles and practices to your life can only improve it - if you are willing and there is nothing to lose, as I see a few ££'s as more of an investment to my self. It might not be for everyone, but as I only see how you can gain something from her insight and guidance.
