An honest and very familiar personal experience of tragic circumstances.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who has a relationship with an alcoholic, or even to those with a relationship with someone who has supported an alcoholic. It gives an insight into the emotional torture of the drip effect - the slow erosion of relationships and a life, often built over many happy years, now destroyed by alcohol abuse.
Cherrys account of her experiences will be reassuringly familiar to anyone who has lived with an alcoholic and that brings comfort to those who have often felt completely alone. Thank you Cherry.
