Alex and Katie are spending the summer with their aunt, ultimately leading them into an alternate fantasy world. Think: Chronicles of Narnia, but more focused on a younger audience, with each book in this series having a theme of sorts that works on educational content and morals. For this book, it's about the seasons of the year and the important of patience and not being greedy. I've now passed this one on to my ten year old son to read. I think he'll enjoy the action, mystery, and danger that this magical tale has to offer.
