3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to read but rushed ending
Good book, well written and easy to read but as I got 80-90% through I was wondering how it was gonna wrap up, literally all is explained in last chapter at around 96%… could have worked the ending more and dropped the war stories, although they made u think the story was gonna go in a different direction.

Night Slashers by Rashad Freeman

Daniel Montague has buried a secret for so long. He leads an ordinary life, great career and the perfect wife. But soon people end up dead and his whole world is about to turn upside down. He finds that he can only hide from his past for so long, until it catches up to him.

A fast paced murder/thriller. I liked the writing style, the story line, and the suspense. I was at the edge of my seat. A definite all-night read. I highly recommend to those who enjoy a thrilling story!

Thought this might be a good (light) read. However, the frequent use of 'smirked', the fact that his characters always 'shout' or 'scream', never just speak, and the occasional use of a completely wrong word, quickly irritated me. When I encountered a 'would of' instead of a 'would have', I gave up. It's rare - I usually persevere to the end.

It is a great pity that this was reviewed by some readers as good, the use of"smirk" was inappropriate and over used and the story went from a strange tale to a totally ridiculous end. I am glad that the download was free as it would have been a waste of money to have paid for it.
