4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent introduction to minimalist running as a way to achieve
Since the publications of "Born to Run" most runners could have gotten the impression that the right way to have a more economical running style and to prevent injuries is to go barefoot or nealy barefoot (run in Fivefingers etc.).

The author of this book presents a pragmatic way of working with running shoes etc. as a way to have a better running...

Not much about barefoot running here. Looks to me like the response of the shoe industry to the Growth of barefoot.... All it talks about are shoes :(
