Have now tried most nappies in search of the best mix of comfort, ease and leak-resistance. These are the lighter, more flexible nappy of Pampers' range, whereas the Babydry nappies are slightly heavier and seem to have a hygroscopic layer of slightly more substance. In actual use, both are dry to the touch, even when heavy with pee, after a night without a change. Whether, at this size (fitting nicely from 8 weeks on) the added "flex" makes much difference to the thrashing, screaming, ball of fat that the nappy contains, is moot. On the matter of sizing, the size range is wide enough to allow ample overlap with size 2 and 4, so buying either side of perfect fit is fine, and meaning this bummper sized pack won't be wasted, and will be good value.

My only slight anxiety when recommending these is the waste issue. Admittedly, there is the option for non-disposables, but there are some places that parenthood and guilt won't take me. I did like the enviro-credentials of the Naty nappies, and their fit and feel is excellent, but the Pampers do a far better job of keeping the baby comfortable, and overflow far less often. Heartily recommended.

Extremely disappointed to find that you suddenly have to be a 'prime' customer to purchase an essential baby product. I have always purchased nappies from Amazon but you are now losing a customer as it is no longer cost effective with the added cost of 'prime'. If I wanted to usw 'prime' I would have purchased it without being forced to do so, but don't feel the price is justified for what it offers. Very sneaky.

Be aware as normal numbered nappies from Pampers do just the same job (better actually) these + nappies soak quickly making baby uncomfortable wanting a change. Not worth the money. Will use them but very disappointed.

I bought Active-Fit Pampers when my son started moving around, as I was finding that the nappy we used at the time was becoming bunched around the inside leg and was prone to leaking.

Upon opening the packet, I noticed quite a strong smell to the nappies. I've used Pampers a lot before, and hadn't experienced this with any of their other nappy types, so I opened a second packet - which was just as bad. It's a very chemically scent.

The first day of using the nappies, I noticed that my son had developed a nappy rash, which he never gets unless teething. I put on some cream, as I would normally, and thought nothing more of it, carrying on using the nappies through the day and the night. The next day he had a blistered rash all over the nappy area - it looked like chemical burns. After taking him to the doctor, I did some internet research and discovered this has been documented by many consumers with their children, too. I reported the matter to Pampers and was refunded the cost of the nappies and asked to send in a couple for testing. I heard nothing back from them.

Personally, I would now always steer clear of Active Fit - especially if the baby had sensitive skin. My baby doesn't, so I can only imagine that the skin reaction would have been worse if he had.

Having started out with Huggies when our son was born last year and finding that they didn't seem to quite fit properly we then moved on to Pampers and found them to be the perfect fit and never ever leaky.

After a few months and lots of nappy purchases we tried shopping around a bit with the supermarket brands to try and save a bit of money but we found that whilst the supermarket ones are fine for through the day they nearly always resulted in a pair of wet and uncomfortable pyjamas bottoms the next morning and a cranky little boy!

These bumper packs of Pampers are the answer! Great value and superb quality nappies. The active fit ones are perfect for our boy who is just over one year old. They are really light weight and fit well which is vital now that he is totting around and getting into mischief. Yet, despite the thin design they soak up an incredible amount and keep our son dry through the night.

I've ordered some of the size 5s too to try them out for size but these 4s seem perfect fit for our 14 month old at the moment.

Having stocked up on Huggies before our newborn arrived, we quickly discovered that Huggies were to cease selling most of their products in the UK.
What to do?
We pondered several brands, including several supermarket own brands, but read a lot of good things about Pampers.
The switch between brands could not have been easier, and our little man didn't even notice - and he can be very sensitive when it comes to nappy matters :-)

I've got to say that I actually think that these are better nappies than Huggies. They are incredibly absorbent, and our little one does like a good wee! And the strip on the front of the nappie turning from yellow to green is the perfect indicator for when it is time for a change.

Be aware that these 204 nappie boxes are huge, but are conveniently split down into 4 smaller packs - so be sure that you have space to stash them. We worked out that each of these boxes would last for close to a month, and at 0.16p per nappie, these are amazing value for money!

We could not be more happy.

These are good absorbent nappies for active babies and toddlers, but thin enough not to impede their crawling and running around. Ok, they don't have the absorbency performance of the the Pampers Baby Dry nappies, which are the only nappies I am willing to use on my little one at night, but these are very good when your baby or toddler is active during the day. The main plus point with these nappies are the stretchy and more generous tabs on the side that hold the nappy together, which come in handy if your little one is anything like my toddler and absolutely refuses to lie down when it comes to nappy changing time. You can just about put them on with a toddler standing up and they are less expensive than pull up nappies, which I sometimes have to resort to when my little one refuses to even stand still. These seem more comfortable on my toddler than pull ups (as some brands such as Huggies) seem to chafe on the hips due to the type of velcro they use to hold up the pants on the side. Pampers Active Fit Nappies are great day time nappies.

I think, as a parent, you tend to have a favourite brand of nappies, which you stick to if you possibly can, through thick and thin. I started with my first baby in Pampers, and have never looked back to be honest. They never disappoint in terms of fit, and wear and having kept my babies dry at night. Nappy rash is always minimal, and it is brilliant to have a brand you can rely on. These are no exception. What I can say about ordering them from Amazon specifically is that you can order in a bulk you would rarely buy in yourself, due to the effort of having to carry them, and delivery was speedy and efficient. I know you can order nappies in your online shop with big supermarkets, but there have been times when I have ordered them only for them to disappear out of my order at the last moment, leaving me in a (literal) mess. The Amazon delivery is reliable and, as long as you are there to take delivery, you get what you order when you order it. In this case over 200 nappies delivered within 24 hours of ordering.

These have to be our nappies of choice; we have tried a number of different types and brands. However, at the end of the day these always seem to be the best and frankly we have stopped shopping around. Babies comfort is paramount and these feel soft and when soiled seem really absorbent, we have also had less leakage events always a plus point.
