Easy reading but it has become a little repetitive. Get up - ride Bike - eat lunch - ride bike - find bed - eat diner - go to bed. I have enjoyed following the route with Google maps but have still to finish after 5 weeks.

I admired Steven's determination to build up his cycling skills in the Blue Mountains. Believe me, the terrain around Katoomba is not for the faint hearted! His adventures in Europe were well written and very interesting.

I'm really enjoying reading this one. The author is humorous and informative about his adventure, cycling across France on Craig, his bike and there are some useful tips on places to stop or not, along the way.

A well written book that combines the sport of cycling with the landscape and gastronomy of France. I've yet to meet so many fire fly Frenchmen as Steve but I live in hope! Looking forward to his next book.

I liked that at the end of every chapter we were told how many miles cycled and `what I should have said`, I found myself looking forward to this bit and most times it was very funny.

Thought it might be more of a travel book, but my mouth watered at the desription of Steven's food enroute. I'm not a cycliste, never will be, but enjoyed the journey none the less.

Bought this for my Mum who is cycling mad and has also cycled France a few times. She loved it and has recommended it to all her biking friends. A very entertaining read.

Quite entertaining and hes clearly a very good writer but its written in such a weird format, if he had really gone into detail on each place id have given another star

Thanks Steven. Loved the description of your travels and the people you met along the way. Even if you are not a cyclist there is still lots to like about this book.
