Nice, sturdy, but a little heavy

On my brother-in-law's recommendation we chose a car seat that was compatible with the travel system we got for our baby (Cosatto Giggle - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cosatto-Giggle-Travel-Special-Edition/dp/B00ADMH5WQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1391631593&sr=8-2&keywords=cosatto+bizzy+betty)
The car seat is very easy to fit - you will get the position right as to start with our baby's head was dropping forward but we angled the car seat a little better so he would be lying back a little more. On the downside this meant I had to move my seat forward a little (the baby seat is behind the driver's seat, as frequently I have to park against a wall on one side!) - and its not a tiny car (Peugeot 207)
The travel system comes with the attachments so that this car seat can just click onto the frame, and it has a hood and neck cushion, and padded straps too for baby's comfort.
Apart from the weight, another negative is how hard it is to get the straps to click into the buckle - you really have to push them in (and you don't even get a satisfying click when they're in!)
Update - our baby is now 20lb (9kg in new money) and although this can be used for up to 13lb, it is getting more and more difficult to get him in and out of it without bashing one of us on the car door frame, plus only being secured by the seatbelt and being that weight I don't feel reassured that it won't slide if I am unfortunate enough to be involved in a collision. I still love it with the pushchair frame though, as our baby is quite high up and its perfect for sitting at a table if there is no suitable high chair available for him.
NB the hood on this is rather small and doesn't really help much either in the car or out and about.
