Ok but needs refining

Using with 7ft 2in board. I'm 6ft 3in so have quite a large bike frame (63cm)
It works and does the job but isn't really practical. There is no quick release to remove the carrier framework from the clamp that attaches to the seat post. Therefore whenever you use your bike you have this huge frame attached to the side. So, you either need a 2nd bike and dedicate the bike with the carrier attached for peddling to the beach or accept that your bike will roll round looking like someone gave up midway through fitting a side car.
The blurb also states it fits a variety of seat post diameters, which is true, BUT only with shims purchased separately.
I'm not wholly convinced the stress placed on an alloy seat post by the weight of the board leveraged off the side is acceptable. I'll post again if (or probably when) the seat post lets go under the load of the board.
