For 69 pence you get a strange and wonderful album made with (I'm pretty sure) Jim Hall and Steve Swallow. Farmer is playing in his best lyrical manner, in a tone that critics like to call 'burnished' and it certainly shines out here. The tunes - from the Swedish folk tradition - are good, and turn out to be perfectly fine vehicles for valid jazz music. A steal, at this price, and worth getting anyway if you love Farmer, the finest mainstream trumpet and flugelhorn player of them all.
