4.0 out of 5 stars naked and loving it
Two scantily clad slave girls crash on some unnamed planet, were they meet Zed whose hospitality hides a more sinister motive. The eye candy on show, and there are lots makes up for the lack of talent in all other depatments. Sure this film is crap and should be given 1 star but hey i"m a red blooded shallow male so sue me!!!! Sit back, relax and enjoy.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Very Silly, Early Eighties Sci-fi Pic
This is a low budget, campy, early eighties sci-fi flick. If you think of it as a poor man's Barbarella, with special effects that might disgrace an episode of Blake's Seven, you won't be wide of the mark.

This review is from: Grindhouse 3 - Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity [DVD] (DVD)
This is a low budget, campy, early eighties sci-fi flick. If you think of it as a poor man's Barbarella, with special effects that might disgrace an episode of Blake's Seven, you won't be wide of the mark.
Two scantily clad slave girls, named Daria and Tisa, are trapped on a space-station prison. Daria is a very attractive, voluptuous blonde, think of her as a sexier version of Daryl Hannah. Tisa is a less impressively endowed blonde, more athletic looking, think of her as a less sexy version of Michelle Pfeiffer.
The two girls escape from their prison in a shuttle craft, and crash land on an island on a nearby planet. They wander into a jungle and come across a temple-like building. It's home to a man called Zed and his robot assistants. Zed invites the girls into his home and treats them to dinner, along with another nubile guest, named Shayla, who's an attractive redhead, think of her as a sexier version of Cher perhaps.
Zed is the spitting image of Christian Bale, and it transpires that he's hardly the Good Samaritan he pretends to be when he first takes in the girls. Far from it, he is actually an enthusiastic hunter, of aliens, animals and humans. Before long, he has Shayla chained up naked to a slab of rock, whilst Daria plots to escape with one of the other guests.
Zed ultimately releases the three girls with hunting knives, and tells them that they can find an arsenal of heavy weaponry on the other side of the island. He tells them he is going to hunt them down, and that their only chance of survival is to get to the arsenal of weapons before he does. The second half of the film is all about the hunt.
This is a soft-core film, on a par with slightly naughty sci-fi flicks like Barbarella and Flesh Gordon - Flesh Gordon Part 1 & 2 - double feature (uncut) english audio. Shayla briefly appears naked once but not full frontal. Both Daria and Tisa each have one extended topless scene.
The special effects are low budget and low grade, no better than the FX used in late seventies and early eighties episodes of TV shows like Doctor Who, Blake's Seven and Space 1999. The three women resolutely keep on their skimpy outfits for the majority of the film, which frankly abrogates the major selling point of this film as a supposed grindhouse classic.
The acting is amateurish - I don't think that any of the cast will be treading the boards at the RSC in Stratford anytime soon. The dialogue is dire. The film score and sound effects are actually quite good, one of the strongest aspects of the film.
This is a rock solid and gold plated one star movie. I've only given it two extra stars, for no better reason than Daria is extremely sexy, and shows off acres of cleavage from start to finish. If you simply want to buy a campy and mildly sexy sci-fi movie of this nature, I think that Barbarella on blu-ray, a film which I review elsewhere, would be a much shrewder purchase - Barbarella (1968) [Blu-ray] [Region Free] .
If you simply want a very sexy grindhouse classic, then The Pig-Keeper's Daughter - another film which I review elsewhere - is much much sexier than Slave Girls - The Pig Keeper's Daughter (Region 2) (Import).
Thank you for reading this review.

If you love 80's cheesy sleazy low budget movies with babes, boobs, guns and weird aliens then this is a must! Classic film with some cool effects and lovely ladies and an interesting story!! A cult classic now I would say. A funny note to add about this film it stars Don Scribner who back in this film looks identical to Christian Bale.

3.0 out of 5 stars TA or not TA, 28 Jun 2014

Hmmm... bikinis are fairly tame, only one is well filled and they stay on too much. Movie itself is entertaining but if you want a lot of nekkid T&A check the extras. There is what seems to be a complete movie of famous T&A scenes including Ursula Andress, Bardot, Bisset and lots of others, all displaying what they got for their birthdays ;)

Worth buying for that even if the movie itself won't get used in any 'how to win an oscar' lessons.

FILM REVIEW:
'Big movie. Big production. Big girls' reads the original poster.
Well, what we have here is quite an unassuming sci-fi flick with some good ideas and concepts poured into a not so good script.
The movie boast of a very limited cast of characters, some silly situations and dialogues, some typical B-movie robots and creatures, a B-movie fortress, a B-movie jungle... and a couple of beautiful and sculptural blondes (Elizabeth Kaitan and Cindy Beal) who provided the film with all of the topless sequences.
The first 60 minutes are OK, despite an early crash-landing scene makes it pretty much clear that this 1987's production lacks of a decent budget.
As for the last 10 minutes... well, that's a different story. I don't want to give away any details.... but everything is sorted out in a clumsy rather than bizarre way... and this has to do with a lack of real talent not money.
On the other hand, the DVD presents a clear picture, no appreciable dirt but far from the high definition concept.
Hope it can get a Blu-ray release (authentic Full HD 1080p) one day.

dated and silly, but with the important quality of not taking itself too seriously. It's the old tale of the Hounds of Zaroff, SF style.

5.0 out of 5 stars hysterical, 4 April 2012

Why am I giving 5 stars to what can charitably be described as rubbish? Because its awfulness had me in fits of laughter. Every cliche you can think of is somewhere here. Three busty reasonably pretty girls, with not too many brain cells between them, who triumph in various trials, including being hunted through a forest, yet never get dirty or suffer any damage to their hair or makeup. A formulaic villain, complete with monster servant. Sets which you might see in a school play. Appalling dialogue, with bursts of philosophical pseudo-babble about the purpose of life. Acting so bad that it would not merit a place in a third rate amateur production. And of course, the girls triumph over evil to give a happy ending. I couldn't recommend anyone to buy this, and I shall give mine to someone who will be equally amused. Objectively, one star is probably one too many, but I'm sure they did their best.
