I originally bought this on XBOX 360 from another retailer and the box was damaged and then my Kinect died!! I was so upset I didn't bother playing it, especially because of the poor customer services of the retailer and Microsoft - I felt so betrayed.

I'm so happy with this version!! The Wii U is so cool and it's the first time that Nintendo has a hardcore blockbuster on it's system again. Being on a Nintendo, the whole experience just feels more comfortable. The backstory comic for the previous games really works in setting up the finale of the saga - you just have to listen to the story and make simple choices.

I like the gamepad shortcuts too - they speed up gameplay, especially with the maps on a separate screen.

This is a top title and is reminiscent of Star Wars and Star Trek Sci-Fi action in one game.

For an old timer like myself (I began playing in the days of Defender, Scramble, PacMan, Manic Miner, Lunar Jetman, Atic Atac etc) it made a refreshing change to come across a game that you could tailor to your particular style of playing

So shoot everything and don't think or RPG style with some fighting but not enough to bore you silly

Buy it, you won't be disappointed

I never owned a 360 or ps3 so have never played the series before so i was interested to see what i had been missing- a lot. This is one of the greatest games ever created, I love it. The story is epic and it is a treat to look at. Think gears of war in a space setting but much better. You wont regret buying this.

Having the map and powers displayed in the touch screen makes the gameplay feel more smooth and fast. I enjoyed every minute of it. If you haven't played Mass Effect already and think your Wii U is spending too much time with the power off - this game should be an instant buy.

I was thinking to get this game when I got the console but held off... How silly was I?

This game is great, and after readin many reviews about it and a bit of prodding by mates I was convinced to get it. The graphics & sound are great, the gameplay is good. I am certain the gameplay is AWESOME, but I am not very good at shooters so this could be whats frustrating me about the controls. I am certain that in time I will get better at it. This game is not just a FPS, its much more. I just havent been able to get past my lack of skills...

Even though it is the third chapter of the trilogy, you do have an interactive comics that kinda gets you up to date. You also are allowed to customise your character much like creating a mii... I havent experienced the online bit yet but hear it is great.

I am looking forward to diving into the game a bit more when I have the time and when a more experienced gamer can clue me up on gameplay.

Impressed so far, seems to be quite the procrastination destination...

Will update more later when I get to terms with the gameplay. Definitely a must-have!

Terrific game and being able to play this on the gamepad is a godsend. Thoroughly recommended to all those who missed out on the 360/PS3 versions.

I don't normally go for the big-budget games (call of duty, modern warfare etc) but got this since it was cut-price.

This is a highly immersive game, with a strong narrative, good gameplay mechanics, attention to detail, and which interweaves action almost seamlessly with plot development.

It really creates the impression that you are playing a movie rather than a game, and a fairly good one too (RPG mode).

It is hardcore sci-fi, and should appeal to anyone who likes the genre.

There are a lot of references and cinematic allusions which are quite interesting - farscape, starship troopers, star trek, in fact virtually every idea generated by science fiction is in this game.

The gameplay is pretty sound, and routine ops are often broken up or complicated by unexpected events, much as they would be in the real world.

Highly enjoyable, but not a casual piece.
