aCalendar+ on a Moto G running Kit Kat 4.4.4 using an Outlook.com calendar

There are tons of calendar apps for Android out there but it was the pocket diary style for the weekly view that attracted me to this one and even the monthly view gives you a good idea of what events are coming up. I only use it on my smart phone and I don't have many back to back meetings either. It doesn't replace the stock Android calendar, rather it works on top of it and in my opinion gives your calendar a better look and feel.
I tried the free app first but that doesn't allow you to set events as being busy. This is a shame because this would automatically switch my phone to silent. You can of course get the free app to launch the stock Android app for creating/editing events and set events as being busy, but this process isn't very seamless.
So for a few pounds this version allows you to set events as busy, gives you access to a Google holiday calendar and also birthdays for your contacts.
Frequent releases of the app seem to clear up any minor problems that I have had along the way.
