I ordered these Promarker's for the explicit intent to colour my manga illustrations; and it was also part of a larger pack of goods I bought including pencils, rulers, pencil compass, and a book by Mark Crilley to help start me off.
As a personal use of these markers on my first drawn picture, I immediately went to colour the skin of my drawing in the "almond" colour provided and coloured the darker shades in a darker colour (Tan) to create shades onto my work. The markers are available with two separate lengths either side of the marker, one suited for precision and the other used for colouring large spaces.
The other markers include;
Cardinal Red, which is very vibrant.
Chestnut, which is quite dark.
Ginger, which is a nice light colour, and can be blended for lighter shades with the chestnut Promarker.
Burnt Orange, which is a dark orange almost appearing like a light brown is good for contrasting different colours.
Blush, which I also used sparingly onto illustration is a good additional tone.
Bluebell, which is a light sky blue marker, which is easy to blend.
Orchid, which is a lighter purple in colour and blends well with pink carnation Promarker.
Plum, Which is an extremely dark purple, be careful to not saturate the page with this colour because once it has dried the included "Blender marker" with not be able to lift the shade.
Pink Carnation, which is a light pink and is easy to shade with Bluebell and Orchid Promarkers.
Dusky Rose, which is a darker shade of pink and good for the folds and creases of clothes (if the clothes are pink).
As already mentioned the Blender pen is a good addition to the prescribed colours as it can effectively create lighter shades and allow an easy transition to different shadings.
The contents also include a sheet of A4 explaining how to use the Markers and an A4 sketchpad, which is bleed proof so the markers wont leak through. It also comes with a website link where it details a few extra colouring methods, but it leaves a lot to be desired as it is very bare bones. A personal recommendation is to view videos on the topic on YouTube, I have learnt more about shades and applying of the Promarkers than anywhere else on YouTube.
5 out of 5, an excellent product.

These markers are incredible for creating cartoons/graffitti designs, which is the main use for my son. The paper in the pad provided is quite thin, and although the markers show through to the back of each sheet, they do not bleed through onto the next sheet. It would be nice if the colour range was a bit wider - no greens or blues in this one, but I guess you need to blend and buy more sets!

First I have to say this, amazing timing of delivery.
It was expected on Tuesday but arrived a day early which is just amazing so bravo on the shipping.
Now the product itself, it's a great beginners set for the artist either wanting to get back into art or is just starting to create art. The colours are pretty lacking but it makes up for the nice steel box, nice pen and awesome bleedproof pad which is awesome for the price. So I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a great Christmas present to someone young or old.
Note, the markers contain a trace of Alcohol so I wouldn't recommend this for younger children at the age of 5 or below.
