4.0 out of 5 stars A character piece well executed
If you expecting an action movie, this is not for you. Although it has action scenes, it is primarily a character driven piece. It works almost like a play in its execution (no pun intended). It revolves around what happens if you put four assassins together in a room, and three of them want answers.

As a movie it works very well. The tension is palpable and...

3.0 out of 5 stars LIVING IN THE TWILIGHT
Marcus (Will Yun Lee) is a paid assassin who operates with a sense of humor and a touch of noir. He is visited by three fellow assassins. Cordelia (Mercedes Renard) is the jilted ex-girlfriend who is still bitter. Chase (Oliver Williams) is the new guy who is "more British than Brit." Marcus (Will Yun Lee) is a paid assassin who operates with a sense of humor and a touch of noir. He is visited by three fellow assassins. Cordelia (Mercedes Renard) is the jilted ex-girlfriend who is still bitter. Chase (Oliver Williams) is the new guy who is "more British than Brit." And Eli (Miguel Ferrer) a sentimental mentor with a bad heart. It seems Marcus was supposed to perform two hits, but only did one. The other three assassins are there to find out why, one way or another...and make things right.

The film is more like a play. Except for the flashbacks, it takes place in one hotel room. There is great interaction among the characters. The audience knows things aren't as they seem. There has got to be a big twist, some major pre-planned turn of events, an ending that puts the icing on the cake. Unfortunately, what is a good film lacks the expected climax.

As a movie it works very well. The tension is palpable and often explosively violent. Th e stories they tell move the story along and help towards the pay off at the end which is not entirely expected.
