Whilst clearly some of these tracks are demos (albeit mastered very well) Siobhan's vocals and unique intonation shine through the vast majority, with probable exception of "Ned"! This track is murky basic electro teaser with rather odd vocals, so doesn't necessarily sit well with the more thought-through tracks.
There are two or three tracks that veer towards the electro feel of the excellent "Red Room" compilation from a couple of years ago, such as the excellent "Shades", but the vast majority here are acoustic, sometimes exhibiting an 'unplugged' feel. It's a refreshing compilation of various song styles, and the sound is generally good, but for me doesn't quite gel as I'd hoped. These tracks span several years, and probably include different collaborations and production 'studios' along the way, so it was always going to be a compilation rather than an album.
Great that Siobhan still has material to release for her fans, and if you like this then the Remixes and #3 (expanded 2CD) releases will also be either on your shelf or your shopping list!

What an absolute classic: has a good dose of some retro-clash smoky discopunk, and some great acoustic stuff. Siobhan sounds amazing especially in Cosmic Dancer, and Wish You Were Here: wow. And "You Can't Wear Shades" is one of the sexiest things I've heard in years. Definitely one to treasure. A natural progression from the magnificent Red Room album.
Love you Siobhan, keep the good stuff coming please!
