I have previously had screen protectors from Terrapin for my iPod and Lumia 710 which I could install easily without any air bubbles.I then purchased this for the Nokia lumia
820 and noticed that they seemed to be thinner than the others I had used,I had cleaned the device before applying and used the card to apply pressure and no matter how much i cleaned the device beforehand large air bubbles
would appear every time which could not be removed no matter what I did.I used all of the protectors which all had the same result and am very frustrated.I have now purchased one from a different
manufacturer at a higher price which seem to be thicker than this hoping i don't have this problem again.I'm not sure whether there is a problem with this partcicular batch or not but cannot trust them again and have wasted the money i paid for them.

These are cheap obviously, but they are not fit for purpose. Obviously, they are hard to attach without leaving bubbles - which is why they come in a pack of 6. That could be down to user error though.

The big issue is that although they do the protecting task fine, they immediately scratch very noticeably. If i wanted my phone to look scratched, i wouldn't put a screen protector on it! And when i say immediately, i mean a large scratch appeared as a result of me swiping the screen with my finger immediately after the protector was put on.

By comparison, i bought a similar sounding (and similarly cheap) product for my HTC Sensation XE screen almost 3 years ago, and have only used 2 of them in that time (look for my review of that product). And those ones don't show the scratches. So these Nokia Lumia ones are below the industry norm.

I bought these to protect my Lumia from the inevitable screen damage that would occur fr on carrying it in my pocket, along with keys, etc.

The issue seems to be though, that in the few months I had the phone without covers, it didn't scratch. I have had the cover on for a couple of weeks and it is covered in scratches.

I could replace it, but at that rate I would be replacing it frequently (hardly cost effective) and it is not the easiest to apply.

In summary, it protects my screen, but I am putting up with the myriad of scratches on the cover that didn't seem to affect the naked screen.

Having just purchased a new Nokia Lumia 820 I thought it would be worth spending a few pounds to protect my investment. I have to say the screen protectors do just that. Due to renovation work being carried out on my house dust, dirt and grit is everywhere, the phone plus cover have been in the thick of it, hence the first cover has become quite scratched, however I can rest assured that the screen itself is still in good nick. These protectors are a must no matter what environment your phone is in. I recommend buying these as essential phone care!!!

Not even properly cut for the screen, bits that are supposed to go round the front facing camera and mic etc are poorly positioned. Then when you take the first tab of to unpeel the thing it leaves a small sticky residue at the bottom from the tab that wont come off so unless you want a bit of glue type substance across your cover then avoid. The residue happened on the first 3 I tried and after that I gave up and threw them in the bin.

These screen protectors do exactly what they say .....fit for purpose.

They keep the screen protected very well and are quite easy to apply with instructions given on the tabs.

I believe that these are excellent at protecting your screen whilst enabling the user to move around the screen with ease.

I would not be without these..... I always have some spares around the house.
Tks

Yes they do seem to scratch easily but then again no worse than any other screen protector I have had in the past.

All the cut outs are in the right place and it doesnt affect the phone's opertation.

As allways the key to using them is the 7 P's and making sure that the phone screen is TOTAL clean and free of dust before you put them on.

I have had screen protectors for most of my phones and think they are really necessary .

I was worried that being large these screen protectors would be hard to put on.

They come with a little tool/gadget that makes it so easy to remove any air bubbles - so if fact they were the easiest I have ever used!!!!

An excellent buy.

The protector cutting needs checking.

The cut out for the front camera is positioned such that to avoid covering the camera with one edge it is necessary to set the film to one edge of the display, leaving an edge on the other. So its OK, but I would have be happier if it was possible to centralise it.

Even after being extra carefull while placing it on the phone, some spots seam to have few "glue" and leaves air bubles under, even after using the card...

But overall im pleased with the product, because unlike other protectors it doesnt afect the screen coloring in any way!
