5.0 out of 5 stars Up to their usual high standard
Up to their usual high standard. I always like what they do, it's a pity they don't tour in the United Kingdom.

1.0 out of 5 stars way too depressing
i've been a fan of Scala for many years and some of their tracks like The Model, Yellow, Everyday I Love You less And Less, and the divine Heartbeats, are true classics. I saw them live in London last year and they did a great job of Prince's When Doves Cry, so i was keen to buy it on CD. Finally it comes out on this album...and it's awful. The entire album is so...

I was new to Scala and Kolacny Brothers and heard a track on the radio. Loved the sound so bought the album. It is a great sound but some of the tracks are very similar so if you walk in part way through you don't know which track it is. A touch repetitive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just amazing as a Christmas album, 1 Dec 2012

This album is up there with the early best Enya albums ~ an atmospheric journey through a winter wonderland.. Indie / non traditional songs sung in the most chill-out / relaxing way ~ ranging from Joni mitchell's River to The Pretenders 2000 miles ~ and lots of modern stuff in-between and if "Tears can Sparkle too" doesn't tug at your heart-strings ~ what does?!!

The entire album is so gloomy and depressing that might just as well buy a map to Beachy Head instead. The worrying thing is these choirgirls are young and are performing in this deeply dark way. Lighten up Scala or you'll lose a lot more than this fan.
