Shirt received was a fake.
on 28 August 2013
*Please Note: I have contacted the seller to either get a full refund or have a genuine shirt sent. I will update this review when I get a response.
Shirt arrived very quickly, unfortunately on close inspection it turned out to be a fake. Straight away I noticed some of the stitching was loose and threads were frayed. One quick way to tell a real Nike shirt is to look closely at the patch in the bottom right corner. This features two thin silver bars stitched onto a black piece of fabric. If you look very closely (it's really small) you can see the word 'genuine' stitched several times into the silver bars. Apparently counterfeiters don't bother with this bit. My shirt was lacking this little detail (and there were a couple of grammatical errors in the writing featured on the black fabric too...)
I hope this review can help others avoid getting a fake shirt. As fakes go this was pretty convincing, but my mate's Dad works for trading standards and he gave me the advice above.
