5.0 out of 5 stars Still crazy after all these years
Well, series 7 has divided fans, that's for sure. One first watch, I think it's fair to say that I found that most of the episodes were good rather than great. I miss the cliffhangers and within 45 minutes it's no possible to make good on the promise of 'a film a week'. But these stories are growers. Second and third time around, there's more to appreciate - perhaps a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Why such a big box for only 2 discs?
What's on the discs is wonderful, but who does the BBC think they're fooling with a box that is three times wider than it needs to be, even for the complete season, whenever that should come out? Space is a premium for collectors and this packaging is an insult.

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Matt Smith plays Doctor Who is this television programme, created back in 1863 by a crusty old Canadian who wore a funny hat and had a reasonably large moustache. I have imagined how good each episode of the current series will be, and have awarded five stars for this DVD accordingly.

1.0 out of 5 stars An Epic snooze Fest, 19 Oct 2012
By
We were promised epic self contained stories, mini movies. Nothing like it. We were promised hundreds of Daleks old and new instead we get mostly motionless modern Daleks that resembled more like the motionless Weeping Angels. A Flintstone style Dino dinosaur, a pointless cube story that goes no where, a poor man's West World and a cheap looking Ghostbusters film for the final. Companions that are killed off kind of but not really.

I'm hoping the final stories next year will improve but i'm not holding my breath.

4.0 out of 5 stars finally steven moffat has made a good episode, 3 Sep 2012
this review is mainly about steven moffat as head writer and what can i say. i was very sad to see russell t davies leave but i thought lets give steven moffat a go unfortunately he didn't deliver in series 5 it was just shocking, then series 6 got mixed opinions some saying that it was great others saying that it was too complicated and that slowly steven moffat was destroying a great tv show. but finally he has given us a great episode that i really enjoyed and am looking forward to see jenna louise coleman reprising her role to become the next companion during this years christmas special.

2.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Episodes But UltraViolet, 29 Sep 2012

The first half of Doctor Who series 7 has been brilliant every episode has been very enjoyable to watch. The best by far was The Angels Take Manhattan which i did not expect the ending to be so suprising as it was. Looking forward to the second half of series 7 at Christmas and hope it will be top quality as this half was.

But the inclusing of the UltaViolet digital copy is the worst mistake BBC can make.

This is going to be the best series of Dr who since it started back in 2005, just watched the new episode Asylum of the Daleks, it was FANTASTIC! Easily the best opening episode EVER to any Dr who series. By the time we get to the end of this series people are going to be astounded at just how good it will be. AND GET READY TO FINALLY FIND OUT THE ANSWER TO THAT NUMBER 1 QUESTION; DR 'WHO'?

1.0 out of 5 stars doctor who- series 7, 21 Sep 2012
One episode in and the series is not even out yet! Why all these five star reviews, amazon should remove them. Yes I agree the first episode of series seven is really good, the second episode was enjoyable, I was a bit disapointed to see the villain die at the end, I thought this could have been a two part episode. The third episode is an absolute 'turkey', definitely influenced by 'Firefly' but nowhere near as good. I am giving series seven one star because of you mental diehards!
