I once bought a "nose bone" nose stud that was absolutely perfect. These are not that nose stud. While you may think it from the photo, it's actually really cleverly blown-up so that you think that the smaller ball-end is larger than it is. Trust me: it's not.

I once bought a "nose bone" nose stud that was absolutely perfect. These are not that nose stud. While you may think it from the photo, it's actually really cleverly blown-up so that you think that the smaller ball-end is larger than it is. Trust me: it's not.

The smaller ball-end on this size gauge isn't large enough to hold the stud in. It's barely even larger than the thickness (gauge) of the bar itself, which is entirely unhelpful. The ball should be large enough that you have to pop it in, so that you have to pull it back through again, and it can't slip out on its own. Not only did I have absolutely no problem getting this in, but there was no pushing involved. I took out my L-Bend 0.6mm stud, and slid in the double-ball-end, with no problem. It also slid back out again when I wrinkled my nose, never mind when I tugged on it.

Also beware that they're a little on the long side. Not long enough to bend into shape, but just 0.2mm or 0.3mm too long, at least for my nostril's width, to be comfortable.

Would not recommend this size, at all.
