I can't agree with the reviewer that awarded 2 stars, although everybody is entitled to their opinion I suppose. For me this is an excellent example of a great hard rock record that failed to break through in a major way because of a lack of airplay (radio and MTV) and promotion. There are certainly plenty of far inferior records from the same era that sold by the bucket load but aren't in the same league in terms of songs, production and playing. This should have been a multi platinum hit that launched MSG in to the big league of stadium rock; sadly it didn't happen.

I finally got this album on original CD, now that it's been remastered and re-released. It's been hard to find at a reasonable price earlier.
I consider this album the finest work of Michael Schenker. It's all about melodic, catchy hard rock, in a perhaps more radio-friendly style than his previous releases. I mean, a bit more polished sound. He's teamed up with Robin McAuley on vocals here, and the result is great.
There are no extras on this release, just the original album tracks.

Despite the passage of time, this is vintage late 80's Metal/Hard Rock (and, in my opinion), one of the genere's finest guitarists at work. A great example of the genre.

The music is fine, plain hair rock from the Eighties ... so: the tunes are reassuring, the melody is guaranteed and chorus a go-go, ... this is music that does no harm in the end, you can play it while driving without fear of been taken away and dangerously losing attention ... The problem is that this is signed by Michael Schenker ... The Man he's a true guitar god, a legend who delivered killer tracks while in UFO and as well in the early stages of MSG Project (when Cozy Powell was behind the drums!) so as far as I am concerned this is not a recommendation especialy if you dig true hard rock songs ... then having that arrogant face of Mc Auley in the forefront and Michael in the back (see the sleeve) is telling too much about what kind of control Michael had at the time on the direction of his music ... buy just if you like hair metal and easy-going chorus ... viceversa, better using your money on newly remastered versions of STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT or ONE NIGHT AT BUDOKAN.
