5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, a must for someone who likes suspense.
Wensley Clarkson is one of my favourite authors and thisbook was terrific.
As I said, a must for suspense readers.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dull
Book doesn't really cover subject of hitmen at all. It takes you through endless case studies of murders or attempted murders, which are mainly domestic related.
The few cases involving suspected contract killings are not well researched, offering no further insight into the psyche or methods of the hitman.
One of those books that I only just managed to finish!

Poorly written and not that interesting, a mish mash of stories culled from secondary sources. Good for brief browsing at best

1.0 out of 5 stars Not so good, 25 Nov 2014
This review is from: Hitmen - True Stories of Street Executions (Kindle Edition)
If I am totally honest this could be the most disappointing book I've ever purchased, if it was a meal I would refuse to pay.
The stories lack factual substance, some of them appear hurriedly written and others jump from murder to sentence with no suggestion of how the suspects were caught.
Over all a very poor read

I really enjoyed this book. It is written in clear, simple language and is easy to follow. The content is shocking at times, but the writing is not gratuitous, as it concentrates on the humans who commit Murder, and their relationships and motivations. Its a bit like a good TV crime drama gripping bite sized stories that make you want to read on. I recommend it.

I lost patience with it half way through. The research at the end is the best. But just leave it. His other books are better.
