Bought a month ago. Continual problems from new with paper feed. Messages saying paper empty when it is not, messages regarding (real) paper jams, occasionally tears on top of paper, and occasional messages "support code 0600 printer needs repair". I have left it too late to return - not happy!

Just sent my second ip7250 back to Amazon, the first one was sent back last week as I assumed it was faulty and returned it for a replacement. However the replacement was just the same as the original, useless, There is a basic fault with this printer that I think is related to it's software (which I re-installed from the Canon website). Even on a 10 line email it would freeze halfway through, and throw up a dialogue box about something and telling me to cancel the print, exactly the same when trying to print a photo, and I never did get around to printing a DVD (the main reason I bought it)after trying for the best part of a week !!
I feel like I have wasted a week of my life messing about with this pile of rubbish, when I really wanted to like this printer after a love-hate relationship with Epson (mainly hate), now it looks as if I will have to go back to them ...Aarghh...
Can't fault Amazon on this though their delivery and replacement times were excellent, and their pre-paid return labels brilliant
In summary I can see I'm not the only one who has had problems with this new model, all I can say is AVOID it like the plague. How a company that makes such excellent cameras can put their name on this pile of garbage I do not know.

I asked, on your site, to give me a list of "all in one" printers. This printer came up amongst others. I was short of time, I was advised to get a printer with seperate colour cartridges. That is what I was looking for and found with this Canon. I now have to purchase another one after Xmas!

Serious piece of junk! Paper feed is very hit and miss which wouldn't be so bad if one didn't have to sit through 10-15 minutes of interminable and noisy head cleaning before failing to print! Better not to leave printing boarding passes until the last minute - the flight will probably have gone!

Great looking printer. I bought for direct cd printing and was disappointed by the software that came with it. Image garden is very gimmicky. I had to download image label from the cannon website for more features. That said it was easy to set up and so far wifi printing has been fairly painless.

If using Easy Photo Print (not the best app to design cd labels), it works flawlessly.
Trying to use any other dedicated app for printing on cd, is just not possible : printing offset is just 2/3rd of the cd surface..
Canon cannot explain.. Can someone here explain?
Thank you

This was a great buy. I don't require an MFD but struggled to find a dedicated printer for a reasonable price till I spotted this. Great photos and good normal documents. Relatively cheap to run and a 5* award winner in a popular computer magazine. Worth the little extra over a base MFD.

This was very easy to set up, but was quite a lengthy install of the software. Quality of the print I'm pleased with compared to my older Epsom. My biggest hate are the icons on the desktop which do slow my PC down especially at start up. If it wasn't for this I would of gave it 5 stars

Slightly large footprint compared to similar models but it does everything I need it to.
Twin cassettes for paper (plain and photo), super easy set up on Mac OSX.
For me it's everything I need a printer to be for home office and quick photo prints as proof or home/family use.
