The stand seems well built and solid at first. But the tripod base is very unstable. Even when fully extended and well positionned on firm and flat ground, it would lean like the Pisa Tower.
The tray where the laptop sit is also kind of wobbly.
I would say overall, this is only good enough if you plan to set and forget the laptop on top of the tray. Do not plan on doing any sort of typing on the keyboard or on moving it around too much. Set and stay away I would say.

Bought to mount a projector for viewing on large screen. Base of tripod needs to be carefully positioned as can be wobbly if not opened to widest reach. Platform is okay, also a little wobbly, but as a support for a device that will sit and not be operted, should be fine. Wouldn't want to use it for a laptop that you then use tapping away at keyboard, but in my case i think it is fine, and appropriate to the price tag. Delivery was very prompt too.

I use this as a laptop stand, and find it both easy to adjust and stable (the two most important things for me)

Bought this to use as a projector stand. Does that job perfectly. Assembly is easy, comes in two parts. Covered in a powder-coated feel metal. Feels really sturdy when up. Only issue is the top table has an adjuster and a little give when loosened that feels like it would adjust to allow for an angled surface but, it doesn't rotate easily, so am unsure on what angle it may be adjustable to. Easily worth £20 I paid.

Rubbish. Weighs a ton. Box states this is a projector stand not a laptop stand.
Very unsteady base.

This came with an additional shelf attachment I didn't expect (for a mouse I suppose). That was no problem as it can be removed (a bonus really). However the additional shelf was a little heavy. Very sturdy and I'm pleased with it. The top shelf can be angled but there are two stabilizing screws that need removed to allow for this. Very easily done and the shelf stays in place without them.

I needed a sturdy platform for a projector for artwork and this Tripod is perfect for this purpose. Once set up, it's stable enough for this, so I am very happy. It is very versatile and I can imagine it could be used successfully for many other functions.

Good product - No issues, use it to hold a projector....stand is stable and easy to adjust. Legs can be splayed wide or not so wide if needed, which I found really useful. Turned up in tatty box but would recommend....

The head/table-top does not sit flat, it is at an angle. So I changed the head, around but it won't flatten out when folded. I will have to file the "runner slits" wider. Bit of a ball-ache.
