5.0 out of 5 stars Mount & Go Run Backpack, 16 Dec. 2013
The Positives!!!
This is a Lightweight and very roomy Backpack with 9 external compartments, suitable for a variety of excursions including work.
This includes 1 main compartment, 2 mesh side pockets suitable for water bottles and drinks bottles, 2 purse style pockets located on the waist straps, 2 extra compartments underneath the main, and 2 front side pockets.
There are several internal pockets within the main compartment and front side pockets.

Unlike most Backpacks which are designed in a way that extends outwards, I find that this Backpack is designed in a way so that the compartments sit on top of each other and extends lengthways - yet somehow it still feels and sits comfortably in the recess of the lower back - and doesn't look long.

I've also recently discovered two more fantastic features.
a) You can extend the main compart into a bigger compartment.
The main compartment has an internal zip enclosure where you can unzip it right through into the two compartments that sit underneath.
b) The Airback System. There is a large gap between the frame and the mesh that fits on your back so you can stuff things between there, like your cardi, scarf or shopping bag, and make a nice thick padding for yourself.

Originally I thought this Backpack was unsuitable for certain size documents, folders and tablets but now I've changed my mind - you can carry what you like in there including your laptop. However I will just say that although this Backpack caters for all sorts of items, there is no internal padding for laptops etc.
There's just so much room - room to carry a spare pair of flat workwear shoes or trainers - and even your lunch box.
Hidden away at the base of the Backpack is a separate zipped compartment where the attached rain cover lives.

It has an Airback System that allows the air to flow between the back and the bag and sits comfortably in the recess of the back.
There is a Waist Strap and a strap that fits across the chest for the steadiness of the load, when running with your Backpack.
The Backpack has a Plastic Frame that is protected by a mesh lining (Airback), that takes the weight away from your back.
When not in use the Waist Strap can be tucked in behind the mesh of the Frame.

All belts are 'Clipped' together, whilst all other enclosures of the Backpack are 'Zip' enclosures.
The main compartment has a Two-Way Zip enclosure whilst all the other Zip enclosures are single way working.

There are also loads of hooks, clips rivets for extra items to be added.

The Negatives!!!
The Zips are plastic. Don't tug too hard on the Togs or you'll pull them off. The Togs are easily caught in the Zips.
So far I've been able to free the material or the togs when caught in the zip, but I think it's just luck.

Thank You!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Value, 12 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Comfortable and have a lot of pockets, a good size for an one day out, not big enough for more than that.
overall a good item.
