I read all of Penelopes books and to date have loved them all. I really enjoyed the first book Die my love and couldn't wait for the second book to be published and checked everyday for its arrival. The book starts where the last left off and got off to a really good start, with the developing relationship between vampire and wolf. However the story and characters were not as in depth and exciting as the first book. The story seemed very drawn out when you realise by the end of the book that the story taken place is less than a month. It was nice to see returning characters from the first book but their part is very small, and the story is based around Harmony the wolf and Daniel the vampire who spend the whole book arguing, being moody with each other which didn't hold my interest until the end of the book,if this had happened sooner it would have left room for a more meatier storyline. Sorry but after waiting a year for this book I was sadly disappointed.
