The latest patch has ruined the game. Buildings decay too quickly and cost much more to repair. Everything costs more in game. This is a paid for App, but this change can only be to try to make you buy Prestige Points to play a game you have bought. It is now a total rip off. Do not buy this.

Not bad, the only thing is you buy these APPS to think they are the full game bought, only to end up have to buy extra coins for further LEVELS. I wish APPS would make it more clear for customers when purchasing FULL game complete.

An old classic ruined by in game purchases. Do not think for one minute that buying the paid for "premium" version removes in game purchases or the need for them in order to make significant progress because it doesn't.

I tried Townsmen on a 4.5inch device and found myself squinting at the screen, the game seems to be ideally suited to much larger tablet screens than a smartphone.

Just another game designed to progressively milk you of your cash.

Original was better. Don't like being nagged to buy prestige points and other stuff. The game itself is very good, great graphics and entertaining scenarios. Spoiled by greed. I would rather just pay a bit more for the game and leave it at that. Hate purchasing extras.

You can not complete the game unless you buy extra prestige points. It's a game designed to rip you off. Sometimes it closes itself and when you go back to the game you have lost everything you did and the coins and prestige points. Disappointing

Been playing this for hours now and it's so addictive! Loving the different tasks as you have something to aim for rather than just trying to build an enormous town. I have a couple of minor criticisms though. The first is that the shovel/delete tool is hard to use with the touch screen. The second is not being able to move a building once it's placed. Can be annoying if you don't plan carefully. And finally; deleting a scenario once it's complete - there doesn't appear to be a way to get rid of them so you may end up with a huge file. Other than those minor quibbles, I would heartily recommend this game!

If you like city and village building games you will love this one. It is to me reminiscent of the classic age if empires game with medieval buildings and characters. The game flows extremely well and it is great to kill time or get abstracted from the real world.

The best feature about thus game to me is the fact that you pay fir it once and that's it. Like other games if the kind, you have a premium currency (prestige) which you cab use to speed up things. The big difference is that you earn it along the game by completing tasks and challenges. No real money is needed, you pay fir the game once and that is all you will pay.

Graphics wise, I think the game has wonderful graphics and animations. The music is relaxing enough but it can be turned off.

I am a fan of city building games and the fact that this one doesn't need friends or real money to progress makes it for me well worth the few pence I spent.

5 stars.

As a paid game this is a total waste of time since their greed for money has affected the whole ballgame of the game making this an extremely boring experience. Here's the thing: by the time you reach level 9 there's not much room on the map left. You need to upgrade research for level 3 building which is locked till level 22!!
Each level takes at least 4 _ 6 hours to complete and it's boring apart from the fact that you've got so much on the map that any level increases aren't going to make that much difference top the fact that you've got no space left. When and if you ever get to those higher levels there's not a lot of point.

The developers would have you pay many times more than the cost of a decent pc game for the pleasure of getting more bored by the small map area you're given. Don't waste your money and above all stop supporting this kind of nasty wallet dipping business model. Is greedy, extortionate and unnecessary, especially since these guys are deceiving you in the first place by making you pay for a premium version that doesn't give you any added value at all and then trying to extract even more out of you.

This is a really good game and really addictive, the only thing is i hate the fact that i cannot rearrange things and the only option you get is to demolish which loses the item and you have to rebuild wasting valuable cash and resources, devastating if you put something in the wrong place by accident, or if your like me and like your village to be nice and neat, if this could be changed id be very grateful
