Amazing product. Can't rave about it enough. I would recommend getting the screen protector so you don't scratch the glass. It's a small thing to buy to use this product safely. And really you should buy this. Those rubber styluses have nothing on this.

But my disc popped off ( my fault) and ere are no replacement tips/disc in the UK. PLEASE SORT THIS ASAP!!

I've used a variety of styli and had high hopes for this one. However, it loses connection quite frequently, and seemingly at random (leaving strokes half-detected). Very disappointing.

I had high hopes for this, but after using it for a day, it just stopped working. I tried a few things that they recommend on the Adonit website, but the pen just doesn't work reliably. It's like trying to write with a Biro that randomly refuses to write up strokes or down strokes. I can't recommend it. Nice idea, but no good.

This item is possibly one of the worst things I have ever bought.

It arrived yesterday in super fast time and in a lovely box. But that would be the end of all that is great about this item. When I opened the box an revealed the pen, the nib was covered in a tacky glue but I tried to overlook this since I had spent £20. I then go to use it on my iPad and complete a drawing. It's touch abilities were terrible. It never seemed to touch the screen and seem to have jittery contact. I thought maybe I was using the product wrong. After bearing with it for over 3 hours and ruining a project I was on I decided to go to bed. Today I woke up and tried to start a new project. 4 mind in and I notice the nib has fallen apart. A really thin clear disc has come off revealing the tacky glue and an even smaller metal disc has fallen off.

I warn you to avoid this product. It's cheap tacky and dam right awful.

I'm new to using a stylus on a touch screen but my interest in drawing and receiving a new iPad mini made me want to try something more effective than the crude rubber-tipped styluses (styli?) so readily available.

There are some negative reviews of the Adonit Jot Pro Fine. But my experience of it is that it is staggeringly good. It is highly responsive to the most sensitive touch, is capable of producing a line fine enough for proper note talking and for very satisfying sketching and fairly sophisticated drawing. The only slightly disconcerting feature is that the eye doesn't always see the tip producing a mark at precisely the expected point because of a notional gap between the screen surface and the underlying page: but this is something which experience quickly leads one to sort out.

I'm really impressed.

I had the reported effect of skipping, after only a few days, but research advised the application of a tiny amount of Arctic Silver Thermal Paste to the metal ball which fits into the clear plastic head. This cured it completely, the stylus is now everything I had hoped - but it had cost extra time and money to resolve this. It would be really good if the manufacturers could apply this compound at production!

I am using an iPad mini, while we got my fiance a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

I considered getting a stylus a while ago, after seeing my fiance using the S-Pen from samsung my decision was clear: I need a stylus, which is the same accurate.
I have by now this stylus and a normal (thick) stylus, so can give a better comparison:

The Adonit Jot Pro has (as descriped many times already) a small plastic disk, as all touch screen devises need a finger sized head to react on it. the clear plastic disk is doing this, showing you accurate the centre of it, so you know where your stylus is writing/ drawing in the end.
Compared to a normal stylus, where the angle and pressure decides the centre for drawing, you know where you are working.

This product has really high quality, I dropped the stylus by now multiple times, sometimes with the plastic disk being covered, often not.
Dropping it can result (as many reviewers already mentioned) for the disk to get off the pen. Different to other reviews I read I was able to just plug it on the stylus again. Furthermore many reviews mention it is not possible to get replacement disk anywhere, which changed in the meantime. Amazon is offering a set of replacement disks for 8£ (price might have changed since I've seen it)

The Adonit is lightweight, yet perfect balanced to be used for any task.

Only negative points I'd like you to know:
A clip for putting it organised in the bag would be great.
The magnet is not strong enough for the iPad mini apple cover. Using my Belkin cover and it holds perfectly.

This was just not a very responsive and useful tool. I bought it for precision and found that on Microsoft OneNote (Windows 8) it was anything but, even though my touchscreen is normally quite good. Cannot draw decent diagrams with it, the mouse works better. Also, I forgot it in a lecture theatre one afternoon, and when I came back the next morning the plastic disc at the bottom had fallen off, rendering it useless; I don't know what happened to it in the interim but it didn't appear to have been moved from where I left it; I would not call that good build quality.

This is a very expensive stylus considering you can get them for pennies each, and it just didn't do the job it was advertised to.

It's okay but quite often the contact is patchy leading to missing parts of lines drawn. It is certainly good for fine work but you need the Bamboo pen as well if you want to draw and colour in your pictures as the Adonit is not great for colouring using Bamboo notes. A good complement to the Bamboo pen.

When the tip does connect to the screen it is very good and precise. However, it does take a little time, which means that you miss most of the first letter of a word. This is a little frustrating, and delays the speed of writing, other than that, very smooth contact and does write very well.
