Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Would recommend this author. In fact I went on to read another of her books (Helly & Ron), which was also a great read.

I loved this book, I had no idea what to expect as it was one of my kindle recommendations and I picked it on a whim.

I am glad I did, it was a funny book, kept me reading and was interesting. I have no idea if its anything like being pregnant but made it seem like its not too bad!

I finished this book, but only becuase I was too lazy to find another book to read. What a waste of time - I do feel bad saying this, obviously the author put a lot of work into it (I assume, although she could have hashed it out in a day it seems), but the lack of grammar - especially commas - was infuriating! I kept having to re-read sentences becuase the grammar was wrong, so they didn't make sense.
The plot was dire, ridiculous and eye-rolling. You didn't feel much sympathy for Judy, just wanted to give her a good shake.
The book was full of waffle and unneccesary dialogue and basically just descriptions of what was happening - not told like a story should be, like 'I went to the shop then I went home then my baby was born'.
I wouldn't recommend it, apart from as an example of how important correct grammar is..!

Another pregnancy book in chick - lit. A really enjoyable read although at the beginning I was thinking, what the heck, Judy, hello??? I mean, okay, the pregnancy was a surprise for her and she was not very happy with it but sometimes I found her feelings and words describing it a little too harsh. I know that every woman reacts different, I know that not every woman is happy when she learns that she is pregnant but I was thinking about this little, little teeny tiny baby and was feeling sorry for it. It took Judy some time to get accustom to the fact that she is pregnant, indeed.
What I missed a little, I don't know, maybe I am a kind of perverse already?, was more about the pregnancy itself. Okay, the pregnancy was the most important thing in the book, but I hoped for more details, baby:) There were moments that I was nodding with my head with understanding, it often rang a bell to my pregnancy and my feelings and I was really keeping my fingers crossed for Judy. Sometimes I wanted to mentally slap her and shake her but I was feeling for her as well, just thinking how hard it must be for a single woman.
There were some other plots in there as well, so the book had a very nice shape in all and it was a funny read. Some romance, some drama, some problems and we have an enjoyable book. There was a lot happening, this book had its pace and the plot was sometimes really amusing and even if it was a little predictable, all in all it was a great light read.

I really enjoyed this book, very light and easy reading. Looked forward to picking it up at bedtime.
Related to the story having had 3 children of my own.

I've had to put this down. I simply can't read another word of this story as I'm holding my breath waiting for the next apostrophe apocalypse. I'm sure many will say it doesn't matter but if published books can't get this very simple grammatical rule correct; if proofreaders can't spot the errors, then the English language is endangered.

Apostrophes denote posession and/or contraction. That is all! So 'do's and don'ts'? Why not 'don't's if it's 'do's'? What about 'the two Fran's'? The Fran's what? And so on.

Sorry but for me, this is a deal breaker!

Was looking for an easy read which I could dip in and out of. Found it surprisingly enjoyable and would recommend.

I really enjoyed this book, I thought it was funny and entertaining and liked that it showed what normal pregnancies are actually like, compared to the version that was portrayed in most of my baby bibles!

However, even though this is a fiction, I actually felt quite uncomfortable with some major parts of the plot, I was also disappointed that it turned out to be another chic lit - which I normally love but I thought this would be different and I was quite excited about that.

This is funny, sad, infuriating, heartwarming and any number of other emotions all rolled into one easy to read book. For anyone who has been pregnant it will bring back memories of all the best and worst moments, and for anyone who may be thinking about pregnancy, well, life is not always this complicated! I read it on holiday and it was just right for reading in long and short bursts but there are quite a lot of characters involved. I particularly enjoyed the mother from hell!
