all and more than i expected, its really good to listen to these old tracks and realise where rock and heavy metal came from, almost like listening to classical music, but better.

Just watched Martin Scorsese's film Feel Like Coming Home - recommended buy everyone - and saw an early clip of Son House, up until then I only knew him as a name but after last night I just had to listen to more. He had an extraordinary way of playing, almost waving his hands as he sings which is full of passion, power and, well, blues! It's incredibly moving just to see him singing about the death of his wife. Don't get me wrong, I love electric, listening to Eric Clapton, Dave Gilmour, Rory Gallagher, Ritchie Blackmore, Alvin Lee, Del Bromham etc is for me mind blowing but there's something indefinable about early blues songs which can only be played on an acoustic. I can't wait to get it.
