My Grandmother loved this series when it used to be on television and was chuffed when it was given to her as she hasn't seen them in years.

Would not buy this item. Very poor quality of film. Not value for money on an old series. Don't buy

My opinion is the same as my feelings for vol 1. Colour is great and sound is perfect and I am looking forward to more.

TOP 1000 REVIEWERon 2 October 2012
Fifteen months after the first six half hour episodes were released follws the second set with another measly six episodes.
This is one extremely slow release considering that the series was shown at a rate of three episodes a week on ITV in the afternoons. In Scotland the pace was slower as it was screened in the evenings.
It has taken FIFTEEN MONTHS to release the same amount that ITV screened within a month!
The programme itself is a classic and is one of the jewels in STV's crown. Having a dedicated audience on ITV kept the series on air for years until network bosses in London axed it, but the show managed to survive regioanlly with each region eventually deciding to run the seires at a local pace in the 1990s.
A better way to watch this is to find the episodes on Youtube instead.
