The first book had a rather interesting premise of a genetically engineered slave race of rabbits and one rabbits struggle to become more than he. Unfortunatly I could only read 25% of the second book before becomming extremely bored the style of writing seems to be aimed at children with the main characted already by book 2 having virtually everyone bowing, scraping, back patting and kissing his rabbit backside which makes for a rather unbelieveable and boring start with serverly one dimensional characters. The cover illustration is rather missleading as it looks like it might develop in a serious sci fi when in reality it should actually show little bunnies in dinner jackets.

If this book had been put forward as a childrens book with a childrens cover I would have said it was a great read for 10->13 year olds and would have had rated in that way.

Unless your under 13 or love reading about little fluffy bunnies in dinner jackets and tea parties then I'd give this a miss
