a ride down memory lane
on 16 January 2014
Clare's warm and yet frank revisit to her childhood, ticks lots of boxes - animal lover, royal watcher and growing up in an interesting world. Clare did not have a conventional childhood and was not the type of girl child who always fitted in. She charmingly narrates how she made mistakes, flaunts her preoccupation with her size and learnt the hard way. However she was always given a strong moral code and deep love by her parents even though they were often pre occupied by with their work with horses. A deep love of animals is very evident too particularly with dogs and the important role they played in her young life. Clearly told stories with insight into a little known world of horse training with a smattering of privilege.
