The 7Ts label thru Cherry Red Records are doing a sterling job of reissuing gems from the 70.s
We have had Donny and The Osmonds now its time for David Cassidy.I allways thought David a n excellent singer but because of his teen idol fame it was uncool to like his records, well I did like them, used to buy them but they were hidden away out of sight. Now at long last his original albums get rereleased.Dreams was the final album on Bell records and is similar to his others, some pleasant songs sung very well, the big hit "Daydreamer"and "The puppy song" are here, this album is a very welcome release as it was only available on cd via an expensive japanese import. The harder they climb is a much more mature album, originally on the RCA label and intended to take David away from the teen market and appeal to a wider audience. The album was based on the fall of a rock star and included some exellent tracks including his version of the beach boys "Darlin" and included some top knotch players. His best album by far.
These reissues are all done with care and attention, original pic sleeves etc, well done to all involved.
