5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down!
The Cornwish Woman is a gripping story of love, lust and intrigue from first to last. The plot, woven around Rosena, the eponymous cornish woman, twists and turns throughout. Her life is turbulent to say the least and Mark Bannerman keeps the 'plot boiling' right to the end.

3.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable
This was an enjoyable book, but was completely ruined by the astounding number of errors in the text. Some parts of the text were so mangled it was hard to work out what was going on. Whatever happened to proof reading? I am assuming that this book had to be converted to the e-format, and it was a pity that the person who did this couldn't type, didn't speak any...

Whatever happened to proof reading? I am assuming that this book had to be converted to the e-format, and it was a pity that the person who did this couldn't type, didn't speak any English and appears to have a serious sight defect.

2.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating reading., 4 May 2014

Frustrating grammar!
Although the story itself was good, the awful typos, spelling & grammar spoiled it for me.
Eventually, in sheer frustration, I went to the end to find out what happened. This was the first time
I have ever done this - please Mark Bannerman, keep writing good stories but get them edited!

I enjoyed this story. It kept me entranced with its twists and turns. However, the many typographical errors were extremely frustrating- I needed a red pen! As a Cornish Woman myself, I was impressed by the way the dialect was written.
