5.0 out of 5 stars "..AWESOME!! BEST DVD RELEASE THIS YEAR!!.."
This is the best film so far released by monster films, a very excellent DVD package, the movie itself is brilliant, a classic throwback to 70s biker movies plus a horror crossover which is very bizarre but it all plays out really well with loads of nudity and guns and blood and violence galore all very Grindhouse style, this movie is indeed the real deal a very well...

3.0 out of 5 stars Thank you so much BBFC!!!, 13 Nov 2012
This review is from: DEAR GOD NO! (Monster Pictures) (DVD) (DVD)
Dear God No! is a biker exploitation film with blood, boobs and bigfoot thrown into the mix, killer bikers slaughter their way across America with a nazi gang on their trail until they shack up in a cabin with the residents as hostages, of course things get messy when the sasquatch drops by! Its fast, fun and completely twisted, too much apparantly as the BBFC removed 1 minute and 34 seconds of footage from our DVD, our version does have however two exclusive special features, one being a new cut of the film (still cut by 1 minute and 34 seconds but with a further 3 seconds cut from the extended footage!) and the other a booklet written by the director, despite these exclusives both cuts are badly censored and I'd heavily recommend just importing the US copy, its region free anyway, I'd put a link for it but its been removed from Amazon oddly enough, still its easy enough to find at eBay or any cult specialist sites.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great movie - UK version ruined by BBFC, 9 Feb 2013
This review is from: DEAR GOD NO! (Monster Pictures) (DVD) (DVD)
Brilliant movie but the UK DVD is incomplete, cut by those self appointed morons at the BBFC, get the US Region 1 DVD as it is uncut and the full complete film and can be bought through Amazon.com. I imported this version for around 15. The movie itself is a really well made homage to grind house exploitation movies of the 70s, considering it was made in 2011 it has a genuine 'old' look and feel to it, a cleverly produced film. Don't be fooled into buying the uk version with the offer of the exclusive extras, they were loaded on this version to compensate for it being the incomplete version of the film - either see it in it's entirety or not at all (that's my opinion anyway). Movie 8 out of 10 - UK DVD 0 out of 10.

3.0 out of 5 stars BBFC STRIKES AGAIN, 23 Nov 2012
This review is from: DEAR GOD NO! (Monster Pictures) (DVD) (DVD)
WARNING : This movie has been cut by the BBFC.

Last month the Original Version was passed 18 for strong sexualised violence, threat, nudity and gory images after 1:34s of BBFC cuts for:

UK 2012 Bounty/Monster Pictures R2 DVD

The BBFC vaguely commented:

Cuts were required to reduce the focus on a scene of sexual violence.

Now the Grindhouse Cut has been passed 18 with the same consumer advice after 1:37s of BBFC cuts.

The BBFC added a further cut to the vague cuts mentioned for the original version:

Cuts were required to reduce the focus on a scene of sexual violence. A further cut was also required to remove explicit sight of penetration during the scene of sexual violence.

In the US: The Original Version is uncut and MPAA Unrated for:

US 2012 Big World Pictures R1 DVD at US Amazon

To see this movie shop stateside .

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't believe anyone who gave this a higher rating, 22 Aug 2014
This review is from: DEAR GOD NO! (Monster Pictures) (DVD) (DVD)
I have a large collection of b-movies (for want of a better catch-all term for low production value horror/exploitation movies). This mess of a film sinks straight to the bottom of the pile as an extraordinarily incoherent, disjointed, and ultimately derivative hotchpotch of every expatiation movie cliché ever committed to celluloid. Thank you sasquatch for coming along and ending the movie. (Oh. Sh*t. Sorry. Spoilers.)
Anyone who rates this movie higher than one star is either lying, has a financial interest in the movie, or has their head so far up their own posterior as to be unable to watch anything.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dear god yes., 31 Jan 2013
This review is from: DEAR GOD NO! (Monster Pictures) (DVD) (DVD)
Right, so I've given this film 4 stars so you're probly thinking "maybe it's a good film"! Well it's not, it's awful, but in a good way. The acting is soooo bad, the gore is amatureish and it looks cheap.... Everything a good homage to 70s exploitation, grindhouse and B movies should be.

This was filmed using authentic 70s equipment, so it looks the part.

This has everything you want, gore, boobs, comedy (loose term), Nazi doctors, bigfoot, home invasion, drug abuse. You will laugh your arse off at the special effects, it does have some great one liners aswell..."Don't be such a Todd, Todd" (In context it's funny).

The BBFC have stuck their unwanted noses in and heavily cut a couple of scenes, even with special effects so unrealistic they have to decide for us what we can or can't see, so frustrating.

Basically if you want a good laugh, get your mates round, get a pizza and some beers, sit back and enjoy it for what it is, sleeze at its best.

2.0 out of 5 stars Big Big Foot Culpable, 3 Jan 2013
This review is from: DEAR GOD NO! (Monster Pictures) (DVD) (DVD)
This is a stoner.A gory grindhouse indie movie that is pretty dull if you're in full control of your faculties and as many have said the region 2 is heavily cut.I have seen the uncut version and imo it's not really worth watching, unless you have a bong.
