I checked a lot of prices for this foil and cutter and was slightly apprehensive having ordered one, Could it really be so much cheaper than other retailers and Braun themselves.
Well i should not have worried, the replacement foil and cutter make my shaver shave like new,
I should have changed them a long time ago.
A real bargain,
my Model was 5895 Silver 5000 series, Type 5735.

As others have noted elsewhere a replacement set makes a real difference. The cutter looks slightly different to the previous ones I have used and so far seems a lot better at getting the softer hairs on the neck that the earlier ones could leave. Note the 31S and 31B are effectively the same except one is silver the other black. When I bought it the silver was a few pounds cheaper so if you don't care about the colour check the prices of both!

Ordered because the product description and photo indicated it would fit a Braun 390cc. What I received was different, with a separate cutting foil and guard, not the one piece unit shown in the photo. No doubt the product itself is fine, but it is not as described as of today's date. Had to return item, which in itself is very easy, but it's also unnecessary. Fix the photo and description please!

I ordered a cutter & foil for my Braun Electric Shaver, clean & charge, type 5301.
The parts are many and varied and it transpires that the type or model number is not sufficient. At the rear of the shaver is quite a collection of numbers, very difficult to read as they are black on black and very small. The requested part arrived very quickly, but did not fit. Amazon gave me the suppliers contact number and after long discussions, and endeavouring to read the various numbers a new part was reordered and the incorrect parts returned to the suppliers. The service received from Mrs G Smith was very professional, detailed and exceptional in obtaining the correct parts and arranging the postal returns.

Prolongs the life of what has been a very reliable shaver. The Braun shaver always gives a close shave and has a good battery life.
The only reason I haven't given it five stars is that the foil and shaver head is a little bit pricey.

I have had my Braun Contour shaver for about three years and the foil developed a hole. I subsequently purchased a Panasonic shaver, but this never gave such a good shave and the battery would only last for about three shaves. I bit the bullet and purchased the replacement foil and cutter combi pack. I was delivered within two days and it has transformed my Braun into a near new shaver. Braun does recommend you should change the foil and cutter after 18 months, I will do this in future. Highly recommended and it was a t a good price too.

Well I'm unlikely to be invited on to the Vine Programme at this rate of negative reviews I seem to be writing lately.
I've been using either the Braun 31B or 31S for more years than I care to mention and this is one I got from Amazon several months ago as I like to be ready with a spare. When I fitted it and had my first shave a couple of days ago it felt fine. I was, however, quite surprised when I tapped the foil block out in the wash basin as I always do to see a copious amount of black bristles instead of my normal whitey grey ones. (I'm a grey 71 yr old).
Pinching these bristles between my fingers I realised they were in fact powdery dark grey metal filings. OK, I thought, it's new and it's just wearing in. But unfortunately I'm still getting these black 'bristles' after 4 or 5 shaves. And my face feels distinctly 'tender', almost sore, after every shave.
Things definitely aint what they should be here. I don't recall this ever happening before and I strongly suspect that I have a fake with either the foil or the cutter made of soft metal. Even though, as I look back through my orders, I see that it came from Amazon EU S.a.r.L and not a market place vendor.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Maybe everyone taps out black bristles to start with, even if it's a first for me. I always use a toothbrush with soft white bristles to brush clean the cutters and that too looks like I've been brushing up soot.
Apart from the sore face and the daily iron filings the shave itself isn't half bad. So far.

I didn't realise that my razor was losing performance until the replace blades light came on and I bought these replacement cutters. Back to tiptop shave.

I ordered this foil for my brothers Braun Series 3 shaver. Having checked the model number and series number I was confident that I had ordered the correct replacement but when it was delivered I found not the same design. Not Amazon's fault but Braun's, who for some reason known only to themselves, use the same model number and series number for two different design of shaver.

If you are looking for a replacement foil for your Braun Series 3 shaver make sure that this is the correct replacement because, if your shaver is an early model, you may need the Braun 32B Multi Bls Replacement Foil and Cutter Cassette Black. After returning this incorrect foil, and receiving a full refund, I ordered the Braun 32B Multi Bls Replacement Foil and Cutter Cassette Black which fits perfectly and has restored the shaver to perfect condition again.

I ordered the part as I thought I needed off the web site, I paid the extra to get it delivered quickly and it did arrive within 2 or 3 days. Although when it arrived it did not look correct, I took the old parts off my razor, and attempted to fix the new ones. My worst fears became reality, they were the wrong parts. So in conclusion although I had never used them, the parts were no longer pre wrapped, so as told by the supplier, were un returnable. I then had to go to a local store and buy a brand new razor as I could not wait any longer. This makes me very unhappy as I am now £31.74 down, with no chance of getting a refund. My local shop now appears favourite for future purchases.
