5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant book, 29 Jan 2013
This review is from: All About PDF Stamps in Acrobat® & Paperless Workflows (Kindle Edition)
I thought about getting this book for months and when i did I was not disappointed. Its expertly written and very easy to read. This book is written in english, and not jargon that you cant understand. If you want to learn about how to use Stamps in your workflow, there is no better book or resource out there that even comes close to this book.

The book starts of very slow introducing the concepts of implementing stamps in your workflow, giving you a feel for what you can actually achieve. It then builds you up gradually introducing new concepts along the way. The first half of the book has really opened my eyes and gave me some excellent ideas on how i can automate my companies day to day tasks. After this, the book excels showing you how to create dynamic stamps that are fully automated. Even if you are not an experienced javasript user, you can still create dynamic stamps with ease as the book is full of excellent snippets of code you can easily manipulate(or just leave as is) and implement them into your workflow.

The book is worth its small price for the appendix alone, it covers and gives you snippets for everything that you need to use in your stamps. It's as easy as copy and paste.

This book is perfect for all skill levels, for beginners you can learn all about how to use stamps and how to implement them, you can even create dynamic stamps with no prior knowledge. For experienced users, you can use the snippets and modify them with ease or even create your own as this book covers every aspect of stamp scripting. You can then use this as a catalyst to start adventuring further a field and start exploring the Acrobat Javascript API, which at first, was very scary...

Thanks again
