Great insight into the career of a legend of the game and how life as a rugby player changed from amateur to professional. Could have done with more juicy stories but definitely worth reading!!

A well-written insight into the life and thoughts of one of rugby's legends, covering a period that encompassed both the amateur and fledgling professional sport.

A very poor book that appears to have been rushed out with little detail. Brief stories with little context or stories you expect from a sporting autobiography.

Too many clichés. You could have written it yourself. His best team of drinkers was quite amusing though. Expected more from a legend of the game.
